Yesterday morning, the clouds rested heavily in the sky and completely saturated the atmosphere with a dull gray presence. It looked like it would rain at any moment. But it didn't. Instead, after a short period of time, the clouds vanished and the sky was bright and sunny. Evidence of the fact that it should have rained was apparent with the humidity intensifying as the sun assumed its position. But there was still no rain for quite some time. Eventually, it did rain. However, it didn't last long at all before it stopped and the sun smiled on us, yet again.
Many times in life, it looks like things are going to happen to cause our lives to be dreary. But if we focus on that possibility, it could all be in vain as the circumstances surrounding our lives could change instantly, making a once imminent situation become non-existent. Just because evidence is present of a storm to come, doesn't mean that the storm will actually transpire. And if it does, it may not be as severe or last as long as anticipated. Therefore, let's not worry ourselves with situations or storms that may or may not ever happen.
Today, I challenge you to not be overwhelmed with what things look like. Instead, know that you will be spared from having to experience some things, while the other things you're required to endure won't last forever.
Be blessed and stay encouraged. I love you.
